Calendar Copilot is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your calendar data should remain yours, which is why all processing happens entirely on your device.

Our Privacy Commitment

Calendar Copilot performs all calendar operations locally on your device. We do not have servers that process, store, or even see your calendar events. There are no sign-ups, ads, tracking, or collection of your personal information.

Information We Don't Collect

Calendar Copilot does NOT collect, store, or transmit:

• Any content from your calendars
• Personal information
• Usage analytics
• Crash reports with personal data

Information We May Collect

App Store Analytics

We may receive aggregated, anonymized analytics from Apple about app downloads, general usage patterns, and crash reports. This data:

• Contains no personal information
• Cannot be linked to individual users
• Helps us improve app stability and performance

Support Communications

If you contact us for support:

• We only collect information you voluntarily provide
• Email communications are kept confidential
• We never ask for your calendar data
• Support data is deleted after resolution

Diagnostic Telemetry (Optional)

Calendar Copilot includes an optional diagnostic telemetry feature to help improve app stability:

• Opt-in only: Disabled by default, you must explicitly enable it in Settings
• Limited data: Only app performance metrics and error logs, no calendar content
• Support purposes: Helps us diagnose issues when you contact support
• 60-day retention: All telemetry data is automatically deleted after 60 days
• You control it: Can be disabled at any time in Settings → Debug Options

Data Storage and Processing

On-Device Storage

Calendar Copilot stores the following data locally on your device:

• Action Configurations: Your automation rules and settings
• Activity Logs: Records of what actions were performed
• App Preferences: Your settings and preferences

This data is stored in your device's secure container and is:

• Encrypted by iOS when your device is locked
• Backed up with your device backups (if enabled)
• Never transmitted to external servers

iCloud Sync

Calendar Copilot uses iCloud to sync your settings across devices:

• Only action configurations and app settings sync
• Calendar data NEVER syncs to iCloud
• Sync uses your private iCloud container
• Apple cannot access your synced data
• You can disable sync at any time in Settings

Permissions and Access

Calendar Access

Calendar Copilot requires calendar access to function. This permission:

• Allows reading and modifying calendar events
• Is used only for the automation features you configure
• Can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings
• Does not grant us any access to your calendars

Notifications (Optional)

If you enable notifications:

• Used only to inform you of action completions
• Notifications are generated locally
• No notification data is sent to external servers

Background App Refresh

This permission allows Calendar Copilot to:

• Run your configured actions automatically
• Process calendars when the app isn't active
• All processing still happens on-device

Third-Party Services

Calendar Copilot does not integrate with any third-party services that could access your calendar data. We do not use:

• Analytics services
• Advertising networks
• Social media SDKs
• External calendar services (besides what is already configured on your device)
• Third-party cloud storage (we only use Apple's iCloud for settings sync)

Note about iCloud: While we use iCloud to sync your action configurations between your devices, this is Apple's built-in service that uses your private iCloud container. Your calendar data never leaves your device and is never stored in iCloud.

Data Security

Your data security is ensured through:

• iOS Security: Leveraging Apple's built-in encryption and security features
• No Network Transmission: Calendar data never leaves your device
• Secure Storage: All data stored in iOS secure containers
• No External Access: No remote access to your data is possible

Your Rights and Controls

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: View all stored data within the app
• Deletion: Clear activity logs at any time
• Permissions: Revoke calendar access in iOS Settings
• Uninstall: Removes all app data from your device

Children's Privacy

Calendar Copilot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. The app requires calendar access which is typically managed by device owners.

International Users

Calendar Copilot can be used worldwide. Since all processing happens on your device, your data remains in your physical possession regardless of your location.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. We will:

• Update the "Last updated" date
• Notify users of significant changes through app updates
• Never reduce your privacy protections

Open Source and Transparency

We believe in transparency. While Calendar Copilot is not open source, we:

• Clearly document what the app does
• Explain our privacy practices openly
• Welcome security questions and audits

Simply put: Everything happens on your device, under your control. We can't access your calendars even if we wanted to - and we designed it that way on purpose. We don't put any Ads, Trackers or Analytics services in the app besides optional diagnostic telemetry for troubleshooting only.
